RAGE shows off new gameplay with 'Untethered' trailer

id's new game is looking mighty nice.

A new trailer has landed from id Software’s upcoming first-person shooter RAGE. Titled "Untethered", the footage shows off some of the game’s exciting gameplay.

However, the whole trailer isn’t centered on just shooting. Shots of the landscapes of The Wasteland, the game’s post-apocalyptic world, are included in the trailer in addition to shots of a few NPC characters that the player will run into during the course of the game and an ominous but hopeful voice over.

The song featured in the trailer is an original track, "Burning Jacob’s Ladder", performed by Queens of the Stone Age singer Mark Lanegan.

RAGE is currently set for a September 13 North American release and September 16 European release for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
