Michael Phelps swimming game coming to Kinect

505 Games announced today that they will be releasing a swimming game starring Olympic athelete Michael Phelps for the Microsoft Kinect.

Michael Phelps – Push the Limit will be the "first controller-free swimming experience" and will be coming out in June 2011.

"The game, developed by Blitz Games, puts you in complete control of an up-and-coming swimmer entering the exciting and grueling world of competitive swimming in the hope of taking down Michael Phelps," the company wrote in a press release.

In the game’s career mode, players will travel to different racing competitions around the world, from on top of mountains to dojos in Japan.

As players progress through the game, Phelps will offer tips on how to improve their techniques.
