Spore and MGS4 playable at Leipzig

gamesconventionDespite no-showing at this year’s E3, GameSpot is confirming that Will Wright’s Spore will be showcased and playable at this year’s Leipzig Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany from August 23rd to 26th.

The game has been in-development for over 7 years and this year’s Leipzig will be the first time it’ll be playable for game journalists. This is a classic example of ‘patience is the key’.

As for Metal Gear Solid 4, CVG revealed that a new trailer will debut at Leipzig along with a playable demo.

Konami said, "Aside from showing a completely new trailer and playable version of the video game, Hideo Kojima promises to bring along a very special guest, whose identity is kept secret for the meantime."

Konami will take advantage of the Convention to disclose the future of Metal Gear Solid along with Kojima Productions.
