Modern Warfare 2 has been patched yet again to fix patches and resolve other complaints surrounding the game’s multiplayer. As stated by Robert Bowling on his "fourtwozero" account on the Infinity Ward forums, the patch has been issued to all platforms.
The patch fixes a Public "private" match glitch issues on the Xbox 360, an infinite ammo glitch, a Prestige hack glitch on the PS3, and a texture hack glitch on the PC. The patch also balances the 1887 shotgun on all platforms so games with players who have unlocked the weapon don’t turn into one-sided kill-fests.
