New Ghostbusters game confirmed!

ghostbustersThe December issue of Game Informer reveals preliminary details of a new Ghostbusters game! The new game will act as a sequel to Ghostbusters 1 and 2 with the original writers and actors Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd all involved with the game’s development.

Ramis, Murray and Aykroyd will handle writing duties and will supply voice acting for their respective characters in the game. As of now, it’s unknown which studio is developing the game though.

Earlier this year, a video showcasing footage of an unknown Ghostbusters-like games was leaked with studio Zootfly handling the game’s development. But Dan Aykroyd revealed in an interview later on that Universal purchased the game’s rights. Zootfly has since moved on to work on TimeO.

Shacknews reports that the game’s intended platforms are PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
