Play Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii games on your PC?

trioxideMarketing research firm, Intellisponse, evidently "leaked" some information to the public about a product named Trioxide which would enable PCs to play games from the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii with their respective controllers.

According to the info, there were two price points for Trioxide–one for $49 and the other $299. The big price difference suggests that one may be a software emulation program while the other is hardware based.

The product description from Intellisponse states:

"Introducing the ability to play the latest console games (i.e. Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, etc.) on your PC. Many of these games are only available on consoles today and with this new feature would now be available on the PC as well. With this new feature those console games are now playable on your PC! Uses the same game controllers as the original console system (all games use regular console controllers, not your computer keyboard or mouse.)"

Whether this is a project concept, something in development or just wishful thinking, it’s all up for speculation. But if Trioxide does exist, the product will definitely get a stern stare from Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony, which will probably mean lawsuits from the big three…unless of course, they’re in on this deal.

Also, if such a product were really available, would PC gamers buy the product?
