Disney Interactive reportedly suffers more layoffs

More releases from the Epic Mickey creator.

With Disney Interactive Media Group’s restructuring and transitioning towards the social and casual market, the company has enacted several staff cuts that include some of Epic Mickey creator Junction Point and the entirety of Tron: Evolution developer Propaganda Studios. Today, a report has surfaced that DIGM is releasing another 80 more employees.

The cuts come from its online division, according to economic website PaidContent. DIGM apparently released a statement to the site confirming the layoffs that said they were "targeted" and came "as part of setting a strategic direction for future success in digital media."

DIMG has not yet released a statement to any other outlet since the initial report regarding the layoffs.
