More destinations for Zelda Symphony Tour announced

The new concert series for The Legend of Zelda.

Last year, Nintendo announced and began a series of concerts starring the music from The Legend of Zelda in a 25th Anniversary tour. Now The Big N has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess Tour will expand upon the original into 2012 with 11 new shows from January until September.

Tickets can be purchased for each of these events, with exception to the final show taking place in Toronto on September 29, which will have its tickets available starting March 31. The continued concert series will recount the stories of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past via symphony orchestra along with music from other games in the long-running franchise like The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

Here is the list of which cities these new shows will hit and when:

Jan. 10 Dallas
March 14 Vancouver, British Columbia
March 26 Seattle
March 28 San Francisco
April 7 Denver
April 20-21 Phoenix
May 12 Atlanta
May 31 Montreal, Quebec
June 22 Austin, Texas
July 14 Orlando, Fla.
Sept. 29 Toronto, Ontario

These will not be the only dates and locations for the tour in 2012, as Nintendo said that the company will unveil more tour dates throughout the year.
