Former Gizmondo Exec. Tears Ferrari in Half

Former Gizmondo executive Stefan Eriksson (who has reported ties to the Swedish mafia as a convicted counterfeiter) allegedly crashed his 2003 Ferrari Enzo outside Malibu while engaging in a street race with a Mercedes. He was not injured in the crash. Eriksson, who had a blood alcohol level far above the legal limit at the time of the accident, claims he was a passenger in the vehicle, and the driver was a German man named Dietrich. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed (120+ mph) when it collided with a pole and was ripped in half. Eriksson resigned from Gizmondo, along with two other execs, after his mafia ties (and likely the imminent failure of the Gizmondo handheld) became wide public knowledge. Let’s see how long it takes for somebody to blame racing games.
